This vintage 8 day 1/4 chiming musical clock movement by Franz Hermle came in for a full strip clean and service, needed quite a few new bushes, pivots polished. 2 Brand new mainsprings fitted, reassembled and correctly lubricated. We enjoy working on these clocks at antique clock repairs & restoration and this clock repair was from a client in Gloucester Gloucestershire . We do get a few of these movements in for repair and servicing as they seem to dry up of lubrication often and clients run them dry without lubrication for a while. This clock repair cleaned up very well and the client was delighted with the full service.
